Nanny state is sold as a hoppy ale, upon pouring into a glass you know you are in for something special. The fluid is a dark caramel colour and head is off white, with a smell of a light hops.
This does not shy away from being a full bodied beer and is full of flavour. You can taste a mix of hops, caramel and a smokiness that I have never tasted in another alcohol free or low alcohol beer.
With the majority of low alcohol beers on the market afraid to push the flavour limits this one hits the mark. How they did this is just witchcraft.
This totally meets with both Mr and Mrs WK’s approval.
