Hopeful of a few alcohol free evenings with MrsWK I brought home this nice looking bottle of German alcohol free red wine from sainsbury’s.
It’s advertised as a wine that has had the alcohol removed ‘to give a smooth and fresh drink with delicious blackcurrant and red berry flavours.’.
Lets get straight to the point. This is dreadful. Just plain awful.
Think cheapo overpowered cordial that failed quality control.
It smells of Ribena that was left out in the sun. Tastes of Ribena that was left out for a few hot days. I cannot think of anything positive about this wine. In fact calling it a wine is offensive in itself.
DO NOT BUY THIS.
