Spill the beans Coffee Porter is available for a very reasonable 99p a bottle from Aldi. Sometimes supermarkets nail good value drinks. Does this?
It’s hard to get over the strong chocolate and coffee taste that hits your tastebuds when first tasting this drink. The smell is also of old coffee and chocolate. You’d think this would be pleasant but I’m not really sure that it is. It’s quite a sweet drink but it does get softer the more you drink it.
MrsWK also did not like it and thought it tasted and smelt of bad quality chocolate.
This could have been a really great drink and I was hopeful for something a little different. I think there is something missing or lost. Perhaps this is just not the drink for me.
It’s cheap. Just not Careful.
