This IPA comes from the CO-Operative UK supermarket chain. It’s a home brand drink produced by Robinsons Brewery exclusively for CO-OP. The drink was released in 2017 to good reviews.
It has a rich gold colour with a light hoppy smell. Head is white and medium lasting.
The drink is very well balanced and not overpowering. It has a taste of caramel and sweet mild hops. Aftertaste has very little bitterness. It’s not overly gassy but retains carbonation (it produces bubbles) throughout drinking.
Overall it’s a very easy drink to like.
This drink would be perfect if you are a lager drinker wanting something with a little more flavour or a IPA drinker that wants something a little milder to enjoy.
